Review:
Since scary/monster movies aren't normally my piece of pie, I am reluctant to give it a a numeric rating since I don't have other recent such films to compare to.
For a monster film, it does have an interesting sense of humor that lightened things up a bit. Sometimes silly humor but it worked most of the time.
Story-wise, I do have a few complaints. There are a few confusing points where the scene being shown made me go like "wait, what is going on?"
And since this film revolves around the Han river and the sewers, you can imagine it being very.....slimy and dirty. that with the random gruesome scenes made me wince quite a bit.
The ending kinda disappointed me. In fear of exposing too much of the plot, lets just say that the semi-happy ending they pulled seemed a bit stretched with all that was happening at that moment.
Overall, I didn't dislike the movie, but I didn't exactly fall over with love for it. It was....nice entertainment.
