Their paths first crossed when she, in her rush in getting her big headline story in, "borrowed" the bike he was paid in giving to orphans at a church dressed up as Santa on Christmas Eve.Then several more things happened and he was hired as her assistant plus bodyguard by her boss to protect her while she worked to uncover deep dark secrets of a politician. Review:I personally think she has an unnecessarily sharp tongue but I guess it helps build her unique character? Even though I can't associate with her character completely, I think many women out there would be able to somehow The pace of the drama slowed somewhat starting from episode 4 or so. Heck they spent almost 1 whole episode just to lead up to her going on matchmaking dates. THEN, it slowed EVEN MORE after around ep 9 (after Wushuang's college mountain climbing club's get-together). They spent EPISODES just sorting out the love-triangle and all. with the guys repeatedly declaring their love for a certain someone and that someone's indecisiveness etc etc... -_- The mushiness that has been dragging on from ep 9 to 14 is more than I can handle as well. To be honest, I am a bit disappointed. I thought it would be like a breathe of fresh air in the mountain of candy-coated mushy draggy TWDramas that have been coming out in recent years, but I was proven wrong. Right now I am going to settle my review with a score of 7. Don't get me wrong, it is actually a pretty well-liked drama, and I sorta like it a bit myself, but I am just disappointed that it fell into the normal sugary TWDrama pattern. I will modify it if it proves to pick up before the show finishes airing. |
