So, I just watched my first 2009 spring season JDrama. Here is my a little note of my impression.
Ghost Friends (ゴーストフレンズ)

The story goes that, Kamiya Asuka, your normal high school girl, gained the ability to see ghosts after a car accident where she was the sole survivor. Since then she's been constantly getting requests for help with things they want to settle from when they were alive from various ghosts she came across.
Then she met Kaito. Who apparently can also see ghosts. She was happy to find someone with the same ability but Kaito seems very pessimistic about ghosts and warns Asuka that she should steer clear of them.
It is not really a spoiler since it is revealed at the end of episode 1 but, Kaito is a ghost himself. An incarnated one. He is chasing after and trying to catch a female ghost, whom the official site labeled as his girlfriend (from when he was human I guess), that is going around the human world occupying people's bodies then leaving them (They collapse when she does but I can't tell from the only little such scene in Ep 1 if they die or just temporarily become weak) because she wants to re-live her life. Maybe Kaito became incarnated for that "mission"?
Ghost-seeing people isn't really a novel idea, but episode 1 was kinda interesting nonetheless. The female lead, Fukuda Saki for some reason looks kinda like Toda Erika (from Liar Game) to me, especially when she smiles (see image below), and I like how Erika looks =P so yeah, Saki is a good female lead, at least look-wise.

(Left: Fukuda Saki Right: Toda Erika)
Don't they look kinda alike?
As for the male lead... apparently this is his first drama so his acting is a bit...off, and he isn't exactly an eye candy (no offense to his fans), so I'm a bit "eh" about him right now. Lets see how he fares in the upcoming episodes; especially since apparently Saki's character is supposed to fall for his character as the story progresses.
Anyhow, overall, this definitely will be a JDrama I'm going to be following this spring season.

After much thought and consulting with other staffs, I have decided to take the "Music" and "Artist" sections off the site (Well, it's technically only taking them off the menu, but that means I don't plan on adding anything more to them, thus abandoning them).
I just don't think they are as relevant to what I am interested in writing, so until someone who loves doing things like that comes along, they will remain in that dark dark corner of the site.
That said, the information in those sections will still be accessible if you are actively looking for them, they just won't be part of the main site or get a place in the little navigation menu.
That will be all for today. I hope to get more detailed reviews of MIT, Kiina, Mei-chan no Shitsuji, and Kami no Shizuku up in a few days since all of those have finished airing and all. But I am having a hard time trying to force myself to finish watching Mei-chan and Shizuku =P to me they are that uninteresting.
